The driver Digest

In the time I worked at Lyft, we've sent over 100 Driver Digests. This weekly email maintained a high open rate averaging around 40%, and was an important touchpoint for drivers. I wrote, edited, and helped produce this fast-and-furious weekly send, which changes based on product feature launches, holidays, and legal obligations. A lot of what I did at Lyft included keeping drivers engaged and happy: to make sure they felt supported and encouraged even though they aren’t full-time employees. This voice carefully toed the line between employee and independent contractor, and maintained the playful feel of the Lyft brand.
